I painted this during the summer in Lisbon during a heatwave. A process-led exploration of colour, texture and form. Layers of paint, abstract marks and expressive brushstrokes build and shift across the surface, with negative space becoming an active part of the composition. Botanical forms gradually emerge, creating a whimsical, layered landscape where structure meets spontaneity.
